Connect Rugby League

Connect Rugby League is an inclusive community rugby league program developed by The Lavender Sky Foundation to provide meaningful opportunities for people of all abilities to participate, connect and belong. Aged 16 years plus.
 
Designed for individuals with disability and diagnoses, the program creates a safe, supportive and enjoyable environment where participants can experience the benefits of sport at their own pace.
 
Whether you’re trying rugby league for the first time, looking to build confidence, improve fitness, make new friends or explore future playing opportunities, Connect Rugby League is about participation first, while also supporting pathways for those who wish to progress into more competitive opportunities.
 
Working alongside local clubs such as Kawana Dolphins, Noosa Pirates, Caboolture Snakes and Caloundra Sharks alongside other community partners, we are building a culture where every person is valued, every player participates and everybody belongs.

All-Abilities Volleyball

Connect All-Abilities Volleyball is an inclusive participation program created by The Lavender Sky Foundation to introduce people of all abilities to the enjoyment of volleyball in a welcoming and supportive environment.
 
Developed in partnership with community Volleyball Sunshine Coast and other organisations, the program encourages individuals with disability, neurodivergence, and other diagnoses to come together, learn new skills, build confidence and enjoy the many social, physical and wellbeing benefits that sport provides.
 
Whether participants are looking to play for fun, improve their skills or explore future sporting pathways, Connect All-Abilities Volleyball provides opportunities for everyone to participate in a way that suits their individual abilities and goals.
 
Our focus is simple! Creating opportunities, fostering friendships and ensuring that everyone has the chance to experience the joy of sport.

Media & Arts Programs

Media & Arts Programs is an inclusive creative participation program created by The Lavender Sky Foundation to provide people of all abilities with opportunities to explore, create and express themselves through media, design and the arts in a supportive and welcoming environment.

Developed in partnership with community organisations, education providers and industry creatives, the program encourages individuals with disability, neurodivergence and diverse lived experiences to come together, build creative skills, and explore pathways in digital media, visual arts, storytelling, design, music and emerging technologies.

Whether participants are interested in creating for fun, developing practical creative skills, or exploring future study and employment pathways in the creative industries, Connect Media & Arts supports each individual at their own pace and according to their own goals.

Our focus is simple! Empowering creativity, building confidence and connection, and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to tell their story and be heard.

Quick Brainers

Quick Brainers | Daily Brain Health Boost

Quick Brainers is a simple, uplifting brain health program who have joined partners with The Lavender Sky Foundation to help people of all abilities stay mentally sharp, positive and emotionally strong through just 10 minutes of daily brain activity.

Designed as a fun and accessible “workout for the brain,” the program encourages small, consistent habits that support cognitive wellbeing, confidence and everyday resilience in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Participants are invited to begin with a FREE Daily Brain Health Routine, featuring a 10-minute morning brain workout, a daily brain tip, a brain puzzle to keep the mind curious, and a daily joke to support laughter and positivity. Developed in partnership with community networks and wellbeing educators, Quick Brainers empowers individuals to explore healthy brain habits at their own pace, with the option to continue their journey through a subscription program if they wish. With community spirit at its core, members are also encouraged to proudly wear Quick Brainers apparel as a reminder that looking after your brain can be fun, social and empowering.
